So, I offered a zine one of the stories I'm working on.
Before I got the
NOTHING TO HIDE AT ALL
Submission Guidelines
1. "Nothing To Hide At All" is a multi-media slash zine. Therefore we will
accept only slash stories. (No pre-slash, please!)
2. Which fandom you chose is entirely up to you.
3. We will accept crossover stories.
4. We will accept Alternate Universe stories as well.
5. We love first time stories. :)
6. Because the team itself doesn't like any kind of death stories, we
decided not to publish them. So please: No death stories.
7. No Rape stories as well, please!
8. No crossdressing stories.
9. And absolutely no male pregnancy stories as well, please!
10. We will accept more than one story written by the same author. Stories
that are not published in this issue will either be kept for later release
or will be returned to the author.
11. The stories should have been reviewed by at least one beta-reader.
12. We will accept erotic artwork as well as "the usual stuff".
13. Artwork please only black/white. (In order to reduce the production
costs we decided not to print any color artwork anymore.)
14. Everyone who contributes artwork will get a contributors copy.
15. Everyone who writes a story, which in the final layout will have 8
pages and more will get a contributors copy.
16. "Even Less To Hide" is scheduled for the end of the year 2003, if all
goes well. So far the deadline will be: July, 31st 2003.
17. Please do us the huge favor and don't publish the story/stories you've
submitted for the zine in the net for at least 1 - 1 ½ year after the zine
has been published. Thank you very much.
18. Page design and layout is entirely the responsibility of
Get-The-Boys-Together-Press.
19. Stories can be submitted either as text-file (with paragraphs) or as
microsoft word document. Please do not invest too much time into layout as
we will change the layout anyway.
20. Please let me know, if you'd like your e-mail and the URL to your
homepage (if you have one, that is) enclosed in the zine.
21. It's okay to write under a "pen name".
.
I offered them The Anti-Story. When i was told that rape and MPreg weren't "their cup of tea, and here's the guidelines," I laughed and said "If I work hard, i can toss in death and crossdressing too."
It's OK. I'll get it written and someone will want it.
BTW: if 3 of the characters are dead well before the story begins does that count as a "death story?" Even if they have speaking roles?
(Gotta love blue-Force-ghosts

Date: 2003-01-14 06:52 pm (UTC)This made me giggle; sounds like you're having one of those days. Is this that story you mentioned to me once? I do hope I'll get to read it at some point, even though I think you've gone out beyond the bounds even of Sanctuary Moon ("on beyond zebra," as they say). *g*

Date: 2003-01-14 08:50 pm (UTC)Anakin, being a Force-construct himself (ie created whole out of midichlorians) is able to bend it to his will and impregnate Obi-Wan. (Leia is only Luke's half-sister here)
Our boys, otoh, just sort of oopsed. The Force made their decisions for them
Just read it, when I finish and tell me if it's beyond the pale...
