So, yesterday we took shameless advantage of the American Taxpayer.

Our minivan was worth about $700 as a trade-in. We got $4500 for it under the Cash For Clunkers program. We now have a sand-colored 2010 Toyota Prius (made in Tupelo!) which gets 50 mpg.

FIFTY. Five. Oh. I'm...still kinda speechless. It drives like a dream.

Of course, I signed over six years of my life for it.

We bought shoes for 3 kids today.
Dollface takes a women's size 9.
Jonner takes a men's 9.5
Obi takes a men's 12.

My crew is a herd of miniature sasquatches!

oh WOW! a prius! I want one!!! Let me know if you still love it in six months - that's when my lease is up on my car - have to decide to keep or get something different. currently in a subaru legacy.

Third-gen Prius? Please post the results after driving it for a while. Pretty please? I'd like to know what the new one does as the older models seemed to have some quirks.

Shoes - my daughter unfortunately inherited my feet which means that she's twelve and my wife can wear her shoes without issue. ;-)

My wife couldn't believe that I wear size 11 1/2 footgear last time we went shopping for such.
