A Geas as Imbolc passes

As we come into February, the old Februarium, the time of cleaning, I have decided to take on a geasa, make a vow. I do not do this rashly or to curry divine favor.

I have laid it at the feet of Mother Hera, a threefold promise.
In the year to come, I shall:

Love and honor my husband. I swore myself to him and he needs to be the ost important person in my life.

Love and honor my house. This means daily work, both deep cleaning and maintenance cleaning, to make it a comfortable place to live.

Love and honor myself. Keep regular hours. Do the writing I require to stay sane. Put forth the work I know I am capable of.



These will not be easy. Every day will be a challenge.
I post not to brag, but so that those around me may hold me to these promises.
