Busy Sunday

So Mudd and I took a little drive.
The Whispering Woods conference center is a PITA to find.

Here are the easy directions:
1) Take US78 out of Memphis as if going to Birmingham.

2) At 302/Goodman Rd, get off. Have some BBQ at the BBQ Pit, they're in the Kroger shopping center and excellent.

3) Turn left, go back under 78 as if going to the big Wal-Mart

go and go for about 5 minutes.

It's the first left AFTER the Hack's Cross Rd light. There's a Walgreens on the corner. Look for the little yard barns and the mulch company about a block on down.

There is plenty of food and other stuff available.

At Hack's Cross:
McDonalds, Wendy's, KFC, Sonic, all within easy view.

It's about 5 minutes back to US 78.
There we have a Wal-Mart, a liquor store, a Dollar Tree, a Kroger, a Chevron and a Shell station

We aren't going to lack.

I also got a phone upgrade to a touchscreen Vu
And a trip to Wal-Mart got me a black bra that isn't body armor, black stockings, seeds and a blueberry plant. We planted the blueberries today.

I perused the preliminary pocket program on the MidSouthCon website today. It looks like a great set of panels. Too bad I can't make it this year; I'll be working at the Science Museum of Minnesota all weekend.

Enjoy what I hope will be a great convention at a much better location (especially with all the eatins' close by).
