Best story I think I've written:
Readily available: Benefits of a classical education (IJ) I love this piece. It's sweet, and they sound right.
My best story so far feels like "Illugi's Saga" (SW) which is a zine story.
Favorite story of mine: What Says the Wind? (SW)I really like this one. It was pretty ambitious and I think it is reasonably done.
I'm also very partial to Cracks in the plaster (Brim)
Most underrated story of mine: Corellian Winter Passages. A beautiful sad piece that I posted at exactly the wrong time, and without the necessary death warning.
Most overrated story of mine: Cute when you Babble Willow/Faith is not the most common pairing out there, but this generates mail even 4 years after I wrote it. It was just some smut that my husband challenged me to do. And 4 years in net-terms is about 25 in real years.
Story I'm most disappointed with, even after all this time:
Barring the really bad Buffy stuff that's totally about me and not them, I think the story would be either Say Yes which needed to be more erotically intense, or Win-Lose Parameters which I really wasn't ready to write when I wrote it.

Date: 2002-11-27 09:14 am (UTC)Have you ever thought about re-writing "Say Yes" or "Win/Lose Parameters" -- maybe changing the title but with a "based on" note or calling it "Special Edition" *EG*? With "Say Yes" I'd love to see a more erotically intense version (I thought it was great as far as it went but I would've liked it to go farther), and with Win/Lose I'd be very curious to see how it would come out if you wrote it now. Basically they both sound really intriguing and I wonder if you might ever really write new versions.
Special editions.
With all the new stories demanding to be written, it's really hard to get motivated to go back and rewrite something I already finished.
I do remember you loving "Winter passages." Having to stop crying before you went to teach a class, as I recall. (yes, I read my feedback regularly. A cheap ego trip, but mine own.)
It was one that just never seemed to provoke feedback. Not even on FFN.
