The usual insanity

valarltdBusy, busy day.
Full day at work what with 3 major projects, all of which must be done NOW:
1)cross-reference the American Poetry dictionary with our catalogue,
2)do a database of all the journals we have, title, beginning year, ending year, beginning volume and issue, ending volume and issue
3)update the reserve rooim, handle the book-keeping, run the reports and make sure the work-studies are shelving the books properly
Then, hasten home, pay daycare, fix supper, and off to play practice. Only they aren't having it. Pay phone bill, get home in time for hubby to go teach class.
Phone call tells us Hubby won a cruise from the computer fair.
Phone call informs me I am the new den leader for my son's cub scout den.
15 minutes of work got the front room presentable and the bathroom sinks and counters cleaned.
Dishes washed.
Real fan mail, plus reviews from FFN. "Benefits of a classical education" and "Til Dark Lord lifts his hand." OK, I'm a feedback whore.
And I finished rewrites on the first half of "Illugi's Saga" while the littlest was in the tub.
Now if I can just get Feral!Vampiric!Luke into bed with Well-Meaning!Han, all will be right in the universe. Or as Joanna said "Sheesh, with you it's just Envelope-Pushing Question of the Week, isn't it?"
