Alarums and Excursions

valarltdI live in perpetual chaos.
Last night was Scout night. My daughter lost out on a speaking part (Caller) for the Flag Retirement Ceremony because she has Nutcracker rehersal this weekend. She's already missing 2 for a GS camp-out.
Son's den-leader relocated to Texas on 3 hours notice last week. I may be the new den mother. Why, o, why do I do this to myself? Son completed 6 of the 8 Bobcat requirements. He needs to get Pack Law down, and we need to work through the BSA version of "Be Safety-wise."
I feel like homemade death. my allergies/sniffles/whatever migrated to my throat, and now I have a real cold.
Tonight is play practice and we have to write a report on Snakes for my Son.
Not to mention Election day, cleaning, and etc.
If I don't write, I'll go crazy!
But the pressures to write leave me a little crazy too.
And I'm back on Atkins, so let's see if I can get another 25 lbs off
