While I don't wear glasses, my husband is legally blind without his contact lens...

We have had many mornings of "honey, I just dropped my contact, help!"

I've had in the past a problem with sleepwalking... I'd find my glasses in some of the oddest places. On the stove. In the fridge. In the dryer. Hanging from the shower head. It was a little unnerving.

Glad you found yours, though. Being blind is seriously annoying.

Maybe you were worried about getting grease spatter on them, or having them fog up when you opened the oven door?
