Busy day

Work is no fun in the rain. you office dweller get a bit sprinkled as you dash to the car. I unloaded a truck for an hour and a half (that includes hooking the trailer and backing in)

My mail brought a couple of goodies:
a contract for "Racing the past."

A contract for "Emeralds" which will be called "Color of money, Color of Magic," and is a dual-world story. Jared is a thraumaturge (magical grad student) trying to become a sorcerer, but can't get an emerald for his wand. Jarrett is a computer programmer who has broken the If Barrier on behalf of a wealthy client who sells gems. I hate getting contracts for stories that aren't done. It feels professional, yet scary

And my notice of a mammogram on Dec 26. Happy Boxing Day!

Done reading! Fantastic ending. It picked up quite nicely near the end. I'm still a little iffy on the first 3rd, though.

I'm glad you liked the card. I remembered you talking about putting up the wreath as acceptable for both Bun & Mudd, so I tried to pick a card design that would fit with your theme. :-)
