I frittered away the weekend

valarltdWe did the school supply shopping. That sucked beyond the telling of it.
Everything on my side of the river is picked clean, so we went to Memphis. We drove too long, paid too much and didn't buy most of what was on the list.
I feel like a slattern mom who neglects the kids' supplies to drink away the money. except I frittered it on extravagances like food and gas for my minivan.
I did get dishes and sweeping done today. Bugs are still dying in droves, but it's time to spray again.
Got some laundry done.
Have NOT gotten my logs turned in. *headdesk*
Must do that tomorrow evening.
We have dinner for tomorrow laid out: sloppy joes.
Dollface wants to be a circus clown when she grows up.
