Official Announcement
Mar. 26th, 2007 07:07 pmI mentioned this in the MidSouth Con post.
Circle Dark Publishing has accepted Nikolai, my dark future, kinky gay Pygmalion.
We're all very excited and the muses are partying in the Green Room like there's not still fifty pages to be written on Niko-Chan, the second in the series.
C'mon bosslady. You're a slave-driver. Let us have some champagne and we'll get back to work tomorrow.

Date: 2007-03-27 03:55 pm (UTC)You asked me about cover art at MSC, so I've done some thinking and here's what I've decided to do, if it is all right with you:
I've sent out feelers for artists on the two art communities I'm on, and will probably be emailing some other people. I'm asking for links to either their personal website portfolios, or to a gallery site that is open to viewing for non-members. Then I want to send the links to you, and let you decide which artist's style you feel most fits your vision of Nikolai.
Heidi and I are not big fans of the computer-generated figures a lot of publishers are using now. We want to use real artwork for our covers. If there's an artist who can do the computer-generated thing to our satisfaction, that's great, or if you decide on an artist that does computer-generated artwork, then we will go by your judgement. After all, it's your book, you should have the first and final say on the art for the cover, don't you think?
