Not too bad a day. i got some stuff accomplished:
the scans for Alex, some house cleaning, not bad for a working Saturday.

But, my husband, ticked off at one too many times of the kids messing with his shows being recorded, has locked us out of the TV.
He tried requiring a password on the computer, but he's utterly predictable, so I'm online.

He thinks he's teaching us a lesson or something. Me, I've been wanting a way to turn the TV off so it doesn't go right back on. I hate the feeling of obligation that I must watch the shows from the TiVo. So this is a relief. I suggested turning off the TV for a week, and everyone had hysterics. But I'm a pseudo-intellectual and have a deep loathing of "watching television." While I like certain shows, I remain convinced that TV rots the brain.

'Sides, the VCR still works. ;-)

The Mid-South Fair started today. Parking at work (which is right across the street and charges $5/car) was a nightmare. It will be all week. The day Merle Haggard is in, I'll just stay at work.

Bunny got to sleepwalking earlier this week. I heard her fall. I went, and she couldn't stand because "I broke my leg." She showed me which one, and said she couldn't find it. Horrible Mommy I am, put her to bed and told her we'd look for it in the morning.

She had both legs by morning, and had been dreaming of setting up roadblacks for autographs and smoochies from Elijah Wood. Oh yeah, she's a fangirl.

Saklani got the FCanon e-zine up! My Han/Luke piece, "Crawlspace" is in it.

The Girls' cookbook is done, and I need to call Rosemary at Wal-Mart to ask about a bake-sale and/or gift-wrapping booth.

And there are 2 super cool book in the most recent Crafter's choice mag, and I can't afford them. Grr, I hate being broke.
