Sick as a dog this morning
And two of the three kiddos sick as well. Called them out.

Talked to Principal C at Bun's school. Got told "We don't do that, she can't handle it alone, NO" in about 25 times as many words and none so direct, most of which were meant to discourage me asking further for her work. One simply doesn't put a child studying algebra into basic arithmetic. He did say he'd call the principal at the residential school. I'll check with him this afternoon.

So, I'm going to bed after i start a loard of dishes. I cannot drive when I have to stop every 10 minutes. (takes me longer than that to park)

You need to talk to your district's home/hospital bound coordinator. The district should have someone in place whose *JOB* it is is to be sure that she's getting all her appropriate work and that someone is teaching it to her. Call your district office, explain that she's hospital-bound for a while and that you need to arrange home/hospital care for her. They *have* to provide that. It's the law.

Hope you all are feeling better.

If worst comes to worst, for the time being, until the previous comment can be put into the works... Just bring Bunny her school math book and let her muddle through with what it teaches on its own. From my memory, most math texts show how to do the stuff in the later assignments, and have an Answer Section/Reference in the back for at least the even-numbered problems it then gives later in the lesson. She's a bright kid. She should be able to manage on her own & self-teach until "The System" can catch up with her & provide an actual teacher.
