So I drove in this morning.

The kids were pleased to see me. I am pleased to be home.

We had pizza and Christmas presents.
And I got a leather jacket last night. $20 and it fits.

Monday, I run the system. Bleagh. Has to be done.

Finished 50 pages of edits on Kestrel. Will finish tomorrow.

pooped out.

You mean Victoria?

She's still on 15 minute checks, and they took her shoelaces away. So we're taking her fluffy slippers tomorrow. She sounds frustrated, because her discharge date keeps getting moved farther and farther away.

I'll be seeing her tomorrow.

Sorry about the name thing. I've worked so many hours I am just numb. And I found out right before I left today that overtime is just sorta over.

I think about your daughter and have her in my prayers. Have you posted a pic of her? I could print it out and lay in before my Ganesha altar.

15 minute checks? Can you direct me to good postings to get me all caught up with what is going on? Those months of not being able to get online, and then this horrible month of only have short times where I can get online!!!!

Basically, she's schizophrenic, bipolar and since July, she's made about 3 good suicide attempts. So, she's been in and out of treatment all fall.

A week ago, in the hospital, she said a few things that were taken by the nurses to mean she was still suicidal. Also, she found a staple and was using it to scratch her arms and legs. So, they check on her every 15 minutes.

She's on a level-based program. As she works her way up the levels, she gets more privileges. Right now, she's back to the bottom. She'll work her way back up.

When we visited, she was in good spirits, despite the shoelaces. She wants to take voice lessons, specifically opera, and more belly dance lessons.
