valarltdPirate foolishness after dinner.
I went in to the dr. today for my back. I have muscle relaxants, pain meds, a diuretic and fungal cream for my feet.
The diuretic is because I have gained 12 pounds in a week from water retention. Once we get the water off, we're looking at some serious dieting. I refuse to be 300 lbs. And my cholesterol has been a bit high for 2 years.
I go back in October for my annual, and Mudd goes with me for his own. He's 40, so it's "bend over and say ahhhhh" time. Dr. Thomas is a gentle lady. He'll be fine.
In other news:
Mom is having tough times: she's lost her job (written up by her boss to cover her boss's mistakes), lost her car (starter is out) and is losing her husband to prostate cancer. Hence me being pushy with Mudd. Because cancer does run in his family.
Bun is catching up with school. She's joined FBLA. She's also reading Nocturne and loving it. She's on a big vampire kick lately: Anne Rice, et al. She likes the DDR we got.
Obi is enjoying his Talk like a Pirate Day.
