I really need a job.
Please, God, I need a job...
And I'm not the only one

I am at wits' end trying to juggle my work schedules. Two part time jobs, writing and editing are wiping me out. I work all the time. I went over to a friend's this last weekend to unwind, and found myself sitting silent, with my hands in my lap. I had nothing to talk about that wasn't work.

So, I'm putting this out:
Richard and I need work. Real, full-time work, to the tune of 50,000/year or more, with complete benefits (health, dental, vision, 401K)

He has an Arkansas teaching license, secondary math and science, with 17 years experience. His masters is in Physics, and he has a math minor. He also holds a CDL class A, but has a roll-over accident on his record.

I have general office skills, with 5 years in an academic library, and a BA in English. I cannot easily work on my feet for more than about 10 minutes at a time

We live in West Memphis AR.
If your company is hiring, if you know of a company that is hiring (and don't suggest Lyft, they're having trouble with the livery laws in Memphis), please let me know.

Hubby isn't teaching anymore? I hate hearing that you're having these issues. I'm putting my energies out there for you both. May you find jobs to support yourselves & your children. :)

He resigned at the end of last spring and got a CDL. He rolled the truck in Sept, and has been recovering since.

Don't know about the benfits, but I understand casinos & taxi companies are almost always hiring. It ain't glamorous work, but there is also stocking shelves on the nightshift at many supermarkets. I understand Safeway out here in Dever pays $16/hr starting pay for that, with beni's.

Casinos are an hour away and that's On My Feet work. And I've applied at the groceries, again despite the On My Feet part. Stockers get about $8/hr here.

They are somewhat old, but the national directory that came out last week still doesn't list the Ops Manager…

I'm a terrible acrophobe. Standing on a step-ladder makes em giddy.
