Really, really weird dream
Mar. 14th, 2006 11:04 pmYou ever have those?
The one where you're in the ice-cream parlor in Costa Rica and all you want is a scoop of chocolate-peppermint swirl?
But to get it, you have to fill out more forms than taking out a student loan and getting a divorce and buying a house all at the same time? And then the secret police come in to arrest you, but you refuse to leave without your ice cream.
And it turns out the paperwork has gotten you a Costa Rican drivers license and checkking account, but the clerk has deliberately unplugged freezer, and the secret police are getting really antsy, but you aren't going until she manages to get you your lousy ice cream? Then you leave, license, checkbook and ice cream to be questioned by the secret police.
Yeah, me too.
Rereading "Taste of Darkness." Those boys are hot, Hot. HOT like a hot thing on an asphalt sidewalk in the middle of August.
BTW: Anyone know where the GOOD neighborhoods in Boston are?
