valarltd | Rough Night

I have never been so glad to hear the alarm.

I had several nightmares last night. Bad dreams, disturbing images follow.

Dollface was replaced with a blue-eyed moppet with blonde curls who was half her age and didn't answer to her name (but was also some sort of age regressed politician I had to hand over to the police). We were in the city and the moppet got away from me and got hit by a car. She bounced and rolled and got up crying, little hellspawn.

Then there was the weird Harry Potter dream. The Death Eaters won, but Harry was becoming telepathic. I was both the audience and McGonnagel.

Then I was lady of the castle, and it was post-apocalyptic or something. And for some reason Dollface wasn't mine. I was trying to keep her at the castle, where she could be safe and educated, but her real dad wanted her back at his croft. I just knew he was going to rape her, so I was standing very firm in my refusal to send her back.

Six AM could not come early enough!

Apparently, I'm a little nervous.
