Weekend in review

valarltdFriday, I slept. Until 2 PM. Which means I accomplished almost nothing. There were grocery stores, pork roasts and MAGY and it was my night at the Gay & Lesbian Center. The Center took over publication of the Triangle Journal News. The editor wants me to write for them, unpaid, of course.
I played some Sims. The date function of Nightlife is very cute, (pictures soon) and Sim!Han, player he is, now has 2 bouquets of roses sitting by his door from his boyfriends. His next conquest? Sophie.
Kiddos brought home progress reports. So not good. Jonner's was all Bs, 1 A, 1 C. Dollface--sigh. I'm working with the flashcards and calling Sylvan Monday morning. She does NOT need to fail Kindergarten. Nor does Obi need to fail reading when he has a 9th grade reading level in the 5th grade. Bun had 3 Cs, 2 As and 2 Bs. There's time for all of them to pull these up.
I put up a website for my professional writing. Mudd wasn't sure such a site was within Earthlink's TOS, so I found a site of my own. http://asparrow.byethost4.com/Angels_Place.html
We got the taxes filed. Nice refund coming our way.
I decided to play on FH for the first time in a long time. Not sure how much longer I'll stick it out.
I'm pretty sure I'm leaving FT.
There was, of course, laundry.
Bunny will be along for Media West. She's not entering vids, not entering the art show. But if I swing it, she will have a GREAT costume. I'm working on vids. Got a Love! Valour! Compassion! one in the making and a "Firefly" planned. Might see if I can rip Ep III (and my new OT DVDs) and get "Careless Whisper" and "Angel in her Face" made.
Might see if I can crochet some stuff for the art show.
So, it's supposed to snow over night.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but the whole POINT of the Imbolc Circle last night was to wake Mother Earth and bring spring back.
Except that when you're ready to close the circle and dismiss the North, but the WHOLE CIRCLE faces South, it isn't going to work. Mama mad.
Besides, Waking Mother? Never a good idea. I'm a grumpy Mama when I get woke up.
