It was really quiet. Which we needed since the play is this week. We didn't gop anywhere or do anything, just hung out cleaned a bit and watched TV. I'm liking "Commander in Chief." Like Christopher Lee, Donald Sutherland has no business being that sexy at his age.

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] fandomhigh not only broke my brain, it ate my toaster. What you have to know to make this really funny: various fandom high characters kill toasters. [livejournal.com profile] sogothcally from BSG has a really, really bad habit of illing them. Jayne Cobb [livejournal.com profile] jayne_serenity killed one with waffles on Saturday morning.

Last night, I came in, dropped a pair of fudge poptarts in my toaster.
I returned to find a small fire. Flambe is NOT the best style for poptarts. We got it out, but I am distressed that my first instinct was that of the Man-Ape-Gone-Wrong-Thing: to dump water on it.

(We're smarter than this! // Apparently not.)

I bought it second hand for $2 a year ago. I think we got our money's worth.

I also clobbered my good knee on the desk and it hurts a lot. Weather's changing and everything's talking to me.

Cally's so bad that the first thing she did when she played 'my' Sims was get rid of the toaster. I died right there. Funniest thing I'd seen in ages.

Sorry about the real toaster, though. And the knee.

Hope the play goes well. :)

oh dear lord thats funny...

Jayne has taken the "cant cook" thing into two or three universes now...
but it is indeed scary when "life imitating art" comes home to you in a very *real* way *giggles*

You gave me my laugh of the day, thank you!
