Now I'm for streamlining the process, but not at the expense of haebeus Corpus and federal court ioversight of state courts.
It is no accident this bill has been introduced at this time. Nobody likes criminals, and if we're already in a state f fear, might we not support harsher sentences for them? It's another step in dehumanization of the perceived enemy, not unlike excusing the torture our people have been using.
