"Speculative fiction?"

I suddenly got visions of women writing about powerful stock brokers. I'm guessing that's not the speculation you're speaking of, considering I've never heard of Anne rice or Margaret Weis writing about the drama of Wall Street.

But since May is both Fantasy and Science Fiction (in the same book), there's no other good term.

SpecFic covers Science fiction, fantasy, horror and alternate history.

Barbara Hambly! So much love for her! Did you read the Windrose stories at yuletide? Some of them were pretty darn good.

Unfortunately, I haven't kept up with her work since she finished the Sun Wolf trilogy.

Haven't read Windrose.
