I need the usual. Basic decor. Is it done in the roccocco style of the old movie palaces? Is it assertively modern, with bare concrete walls, uncomfortable benches along the sides?
Do the seats flip up? Are they comfortable? Do they squeak? (yes the last is an important thing.)
Color of the curtain. Does the apron extend far beyond the proscenium? Does the action take place essentially inside a box where we're peering in one side, or is it brought out of the wall?
Are the curtains creaky or do they sweep open quietly? Were they ever closed during the play, or do the lights just dim at the end of each scene?
Sorry for all the questions. It's all ambient background for my next Torquere Press story.
