If you want to play, here are
THE RULES!
1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed
1. What do you think of the homeschooling movement? Would you/do you homeschool your children? Why?
I think homeschooling can be the right thing for some children. We did it for two years with my oldest because she wasn't being challenged by her school. She read 50 books over the summer, and her class started by a review of the alphabet. She was bored silly.
The movement itself has been coopted by scary religious right folks. Our school motto was "Homeschooling: it's not just for scary religious people anymore."
I'm looking at doing it with my older son. He's not thriving in a school environment. The younger is doing great, despite his impaired speech. But the older finds it an ongoing series of battles to harness his attention and remember everything.
2. What was your last sewing project? (Treat this one as "last completed" or "most recently begun", whichever you prefer.)
The Dryad costume for The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
My next sewing project is making a dress-form for myself so I can design a costume for Media West Con.
3. Who would you like to vote for in the November 2004 election, and why?
Bill the cat and Opus the Penguin. Because, lord knows, a dead cat and a flightless waterfowl who smells of herring guts can't do any worse!
Seriously, I'd like to vote for Dean.
4. Who's your favourite 80s rock star?
That's hard. Billy Idol springs to mind very rapidly, but David Bowie runs a close second.
5. Afternoon tea or morning coffee
Oh, tea, please. I hate coffee. And round about 3-4 PM I really need a caffiene jolt to get me through my night's work.

3) You've been C&D'd by Lucasfilm. Do you stop writing, stop publishing or just change your name so they can't find you?
4) Assemble your dream panel for a con. What's the topic? Who is on it (fans, celebs, other?) by name, and why? Who keeps this lot of unrulies moderated and on topic?
5) We trade places for a (day/week/month, specify your length of time). This includes living space, jobs, etc. Who do you think will cope better and why? You, facing the unaccustomed crowd, or me, the village idiot in your professional field?

5) The lust-object of your dreams is coming for dinner. What do you make?
