valarltdYesterday was a harum scarum day of toing and froing.
I went to Wal Mart for a paint pen
I went to Oakland for fabric and another paint pen.
I had a crockpot dinner
Went to Wal Mart again.
I finished the needlebooks that are getting done before the Ren Faire
I watched Once Upon a time (loving the Snow Queen's Mirror), Leverage (ah Moreau...horrible yet elegant) and Buffy. The Pack holds up terrifyingly. It's scarier now than I remember.
Talked to my sister Brenda. She's doing the KC RenFest with me in Sept.
That'll be fun.
Apparently Oli had a bad first day at school. She's the only girl in some of her classes and the only girl except for her enemy in others.
I told her the first day is always stressful and see how today goes. I'll go to the school tomorrow if she still needs rescheduling.
I also reminded her that everyone is bullied and everyone has depression. Depression shouldn't even be considered a disease, since so many have it. Those who don't should be considered the outliers.
It's 9:45 here.
I took Oli to school. I did dishes. I started laundry.
I reminded myself of my policy: $25/ hr, 2 hour minimum, for web searches. Double for the fact-resistant, conservatives or men.
My new faire cloth is in the washer. There will be sewing this afternoon. Still wearing the Russian Circus chemise (so named because I cut it too generously and The Russian Circus could fit inside it. I tend to overestimate my own enormity)
