valarltdSo i spent 2 hours and $90 on the scavenger hunt my children's school is pleased to call a Supply List
Sheesh. I remember when it was a Big Chief tablet, 3 pencils, crayons, scissors, glue, a desk cover, eraser and a pencil box.
Now there's hand sanitizer, liquid soap, high lighters index cards dry erase markers and baby wipes.
Across town, toilet paper and paper towels are on the shopping list.
I was swearing in 3 languages (orkish being the most common) fantasizing about elbowing other shoppers out of the way, and dreaming of telling one "mother" that her young hooligan had a splendid future as a client of the correctional system. I also stared down a 3 year old who planted himself in my path and refused to me. Kid could stare.
On the plus side our tax refund completely paid off my credit card, plus a hospital bill.
