Graduation
May. 22nd, 2016 10:33 pmThe icon is a very old picture. Ca 2002. The girl in the pink coat, Bun, is 24 now. The boy sitting on the table, Obi-Wan Chrisobi, is 21. The little bit in the pink scarf, Dollface, is 16. And the one in the hat, sitting in the back, Jonner, is 18 and graduated from HS on Friday night. In this picture, he was still a pre-schooler.
So it has been a weekend of family time. Dad and my sister were down. We missed Mom some. I remembered that if she had been along, we could have parked her wheelchair on the ground level and I wouldn't have had to climb the bleachers/ (I twisted my knee coming down) Bun came up.
Jen and I watched The Force Awakens. Mudd and Jonner went to Best Buy. We hung out, [played cards, swam and generally enjoyed the time. I got half a Hufflepuff scarf done, and one ruffle scarf finished.
We had a big dinner at Applebee's yesterday and went shopping today. Dad helped Jon set up some of his dorm room: pillows, luggage, dop kit, clothes.
We went swimming. It was great fun until Oli got a wasp sting on her thigh and I pulled a leg muscle.
Dad and Jen head home tomorrow. The kids are done with school. Mudd has another week. And I work all year round.
