A Friday of much exertion
Feb. 28th, 2015 01:17 pmIt was a VERY busy day.
Oli had an endocrinologist appointment and a pediatrician visit. It's not her thyroid causing her trouble, which we just reconfirmed. The Pediatrician checked her over and did the paperwork to get her on Homebound Services, so she doesn't have to physically go to school, just do her lessons at home. The days when she does make it to school wipe her out for the next day, even though I drive her. Just walking around the building all day is too much. And she hates using the wheelchair. Kids are awful about it and don't get how she can walk one day and not the next.
We had lunch at Panera, which I had never tried, thanks to
reannon and Jimmy. Mediterranean chicken flatbread and Greek salad. VERY yum.
A visit to WalMart netted us the lavender yarn for the commission, but the turquoise was sold out. Oli went to Goodwill and got her dress for her Buttercup costume. She has amazing Thriftstore luck.
Grocery shopping. Must clean out my roaster oven and begin the 20lbs of chicken leg quarters. They all have to be baked, skinned, deboned and packaged into meal-sized portions today. Also got a raincheck on pork roasts for 99c.
Then over to the office. Still working on the game source book. Did up the map for the compound in Rome. Benta's Villa, the Men's Pleasure Club, the Women's Pleasure Club, the Mixed Pleasure Clubs, the Commons, the Offices, the cottages, even the Great Block. (Alas, we may lose the scene where James Ligatos, lean and hardened from work, tanned deep bronze, his long black hair uncut and the curls wild, is sold naked from it...)
I crashed on the sofa at about 3:30.
Today is cooking chicken and cleaning kitchen and doing laundry.

And
I am exhausted and it's not even 9.
I washed dishes. I washed my roaster oven. I'd forgotten about the turkey broth... YEUGHGGGGGH!
I baked 10Lbs of chicken leg quarters and washed 2 loads of laundry. I'll wash the third in the morning and take them all to the laundromat.
I started on the spread sheet for the 2015 royalties
I cooked dinner.
I have to process the leg quarters.
I feel like I've been used as a dustmop.
