The Isle of Man in the DJ'verse is intriguing.

It's always had a storied witch history, even in our world. Gerald Gardner ran the Museum of Witchcraft there from 1954 until his death in 64 (he had worked as the "resident witch" since 1951). It was sold to Ripley shortly thereafter, sold back to a different museum and now all contents reside in the Museum of British Folklore.

But in the DJ'verse, I suspect most folks are practitioners. It's one of those places like the town Bran is from: everyone has some magic.

The local CMs are called The Mischief, after the Mischief Acts of the 18th century. They are headquartered in Douglas, the capital. They have closer ties with the Fianna and Latter-Day Boadecias out of Belfast than with the Ladies from Hell out of Glasgow. They're a mixed CM group, very unusual.

Douglas is only 26,000 people, about the size of West Memphis. The other other four cities are less than 8000 each, with Laxey at 1700 being about the size Peculiar was when I grew up there.

I was making Texas Sheet Cake cupcakes, to carve the middle out, replace it with cherries, and frost them with two vampire bite marks.

I doubled the recipe on the spur of the moment. And forgot to double the sugar. I have some very blah cupcakes that not even frosting and cherries can save.

So, I picked up a couple cake mixes and will turn the blah cupcakes into a trifle later.

Right now, trying to make edible glitter.
It's getting more sparkly by the minute!
