My family is defective, part 1984

I left the crockpot on, filled with turkey, carrots, onion and barley.

Mudd stirred it and yelled, "Get your bowls, men, we're having monkey brains!"

Jonner announced, "You're supposed to serve them chilled."

Mudd responded with "We can't, they get all rubbery."

I am listening to this on the phone, cracking up and remind him, "No, it's just the noses that are rubbery." (as per Calvin and Hobbes)

"The noses are the best part," both Mudd and Jonner come out with, unrehearsed and simultaneously.
