Weekly Round up
May. 27th, 2013 01:32 amIt has been a busy week here. It was a release week.
Heart's Bounty came out, and the trivia contest is open until Saturday!
We also got a really good review right out of the gate.
I did two photo dumps:
Midweek , with the Mona Lisa in the Original Klingon, and Weekend, with pictures of the old asylum in Danvers MA, that figures so prominently in Lovecraft
I interviewed at the Post office. Back to the job hunt.
We got a good review for Hard Reboot.
Took Chris for his learner's permit. Oh my.
Took Mudd for his DOT physical and his CDL packet. Double Oh My.
I made several Blog Posts:
Only Candy and Flowers from a Gentleman. On historical candy
A Seen Around the Net at Inkstained Succubus

Recipe: Tamale pie
May. 27th, 2013 05:56 pm
Tamale pie.
8 oz hamburger
1 envelope taco seasoning
2 cans corn
1 can black beans
1 can rotel tomatoes.
Brown hamburger, add seasoning and a little of the liquid from the corn. Simmer as directed, drain corn. Add corn, tomatoes, and beans. Spoon into baking pans.
Top with 2 boxes of corn muffin mix, prepared as directed and sprinkle with cheese. Bake 400 for 20 minutes.
This made 1 9" deep dish pie pan and 1 9x9 baking pan full of food, about 8 servings, if the people in your house are teenagers.
