Over the weekend, i saw a movie called Gamers 2: Dorkness Rising. Brilliantly funny film by geeks for geeks. See it if you game.

But there was a special treat on the DVD:

I had the song, but the video is terrific. And more fun playing "spot the familiar face."

Most Eclectic Collection of Lesbian Speculative Stories – Adventuresses by Angelia Sparrow
Photobucket

Adventuresses offers an eclectic mix of ten stories, all of which were written by the author. Each story features lesbian protagonists—because sometimes you just want sci-fi romance with women headlining the show. The heat level is erotic, but varies in intensity across the stories. Two standouts for me include the steampunk airship pirate in "Adventuress" because she’s just so darn cool, and "Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch," a Western steampunk romance with action-adventure, a heartfelt romance, and zombies. Heart's Bounty, m/m space bounty hunters, has been accepted and I sent Ellora's Cave the contract today.

"Of All the Days," a gender-queer heroic fantasy piece has been submitted

Got the cover for Barbarossa's Bitch

Reading: Sky-Rat, Long term and still working on Dark Faith 2. It's slow going, folks.

Crafting: 1 scarf, Homespun Bourbon, 4 decopauged boxes. One Prosperity candle. 2 pr socks.

Media:
Operation Burma. Dull WWII propaganda piece, full of period racism. Sorry, not even Errol could save this sleeping pill.
Gamers 2: Dorkness Rising. Hilarious! Low budget but funny as can be.
Party Monster. Gay classic. Fascinating, in a trainwreck sort of way. Love the line: "Oh, James. I'm getting away with murder and you're just jealous."
Les Miserables. Three hours of Christian propaganda with no memorable songs at all, an unforgiveable flaw in a movie with all sung dialogue.
The Witches of Oz. Not a bad re-envisioning of the Oz mythos. Dorothy as a children's writer. Billy Boyd was adorable.
