Today is one of those days you pray the Serenity prayer:
"Lord grant me the Serenity. That's all. Just Serenity. I'll handle the rest. Shiny."

1) My alarm didn't go off at 4:30 AM. My dumb ass set it for 4:30 PM. So i woke up with 10 minutes to get out the door. I made it out in 17, and made it to work with 5 minutes to spare.

2) Work. OUCH! there were 9 of us for a 19 member count. We worked 9 hours instead of 5. OTOH, the company bought us lunch, which is nice. But I had to beg off my evening count because of the very real possibility of being awake for 24 hours.

3) Ellora's Cave took EVENT HORIZONS! Of course we have to retitle it. That makes two novel releases in the first half of 2013.

4) I fell asleep during Sherlock. Jonner said I snored. Dear gods, the fanservice. "ripping my clothes off in a darkened swimming pool..."

5) Mom called. She's headed back into Chemo in Feb

6) The rice didn't cook and Richard has Parent Teacher conferences, so it will be late when we eat.

7) I made my first Etsy sale!

8) [livejournal.com profile] nbrooks is in for a couple of books! Very excited. Het steampunk, with bareknuckles boxing, gender bending and shiny brass sex toys. Also working on the next DJ.

9) Oli killed her daddy's computer. Doom.

At this point, I don't know how I feel.
