It was a quiet sort of day. I slept in, did grocery shopping and edited on the book. Finished and sent that in. Did some bookkeeping. Looks like I made about $2700 writing last year. Probably over $2800 once all the 2010 sales are in.

Crocheted and watched movies all evening. We had a thunderstorm, with hail and tornados, and so Oli panicked. I had to explain to her what would happen if we all died, if we all lived but the house was destroyed or if Mom and Dad died, but the kids made it. She handles things better if she knows the contingency plan. Such a little Capricorn,

Heartwarming moment of the evening: Obi held out his arms and hugged his upset sister and told her "I'll take care of you. I'll always take care of you." (It was less sappy than it sounds now)

Planning for the week ahead:
Tomorrow: laundry. Buy oats and peanut butter, gas car
Tuesday: photo shoot for Adventuresses
Wednesday: Weight watchers
Thursday: open
Friday: payday, quarterly bonus. Must go to bank and open new checking account that day.
Sunday: writing symposium

Writing: 74226 is the final word count for Power in the Blood. 1312 words added this last few days.
Reading: none
Workout: none. Recovering from illness yesterday
Crafting: made pink and purple hotpad. Worked on shawl. 32 rows on the body of it and I have finished 17.
Flying: grocery shopping and meal planning.
Movies: Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Sherlock Holmes
Business: none

"And there are always renegade gangs that want to wallow in blood until the streets run with it. Dad deals with them, if King or the cops don't get them first.” Brett shrugged. “Our cops have an eastward facing holding cell with great big windows just for vampire prisoners caught killing humans. It doesn't see a lot of use. Neither does the reinforced windowless one for the non-killing crimes.”

I had a fairly quiet day. I even got in a bit of StarTopia, one of my favorite games. I did laundry, wrote, had ravioli for lunch, picked up a few things at the store, made dinner, cleaned a bit and generally pottered around.

Writing: 1128 words on Induced Paroxysms, the steampunk cosplayers doing a public lesbian medical fetish scene.
Reading: small business book
Workout: 250 calories burned on wii
Crafting: worked on Meadow scarf
Flying: made bed, swished and swiped, laundry
Movies: Red Riding Hood. Better than expected and I had gotten the wrong idea from the previews.
Business: read, explained how outside edited anthologies work
