I blew it

Happy belated birthday to nbrooks. I always think it's later in the month, closer to my mother and sister's birthdays, and I always miss it.

So here are some pretty pretty people to make up for it.

State of the Sooky

Got up around 9 and went for breakfast with Mudd. Fueled my car, bought my fruit and paid some bills.

Came home and wrote. Made muffins, hard boiled eggs.
Need to refill water bottle and make tea before bed.
Chicken and 3 cheese potatoes for dinner.


Writing: 1162 words. Finished "That Time They Talk About"
Reading: Finished How to start your own business and Make Money by Robert R Thompson
workout: bike ride, .75 miles. My butt really hurts.
flying: made bed, swish and swipe, declutter, did vent and light fixture wipedown. Shined sink
crafting: worked on Delft scarf
movies: watched Nikita
Business: set up e-mail, sent out Riding the Nightmare for line-edits and proofing.

Books for 2012

1) On Writing. Stephen King. I don't agree with everything in here. On the other hand, it is excellent writing advice and has earned a place on my shelves.

2) How to start your own business and make money. Robert R. Thompson. Dry but informative. Am doing some homework on a small business.
