Six Sentence Sunday
Dec. 11th, 2011 03:33 pmFrom Nick & Corban
Steven was fast for a big man and Nick never could quite recall later how he had come to pinned against the wall of a stopped elevator with six and a half feet of jealous Othello glaring at him.
“I have had no sleep because of you. If you ever make Tanis spend another night in tears, I will take it out of your hide and you will cry. Niko-chan wakaru-ka?”
The Japanese demand to know if he understood scared Nick more than he wanted to admit. “Hai, Steven-sama.”

Catching up
Dec. 11th, 2011 07:40 pmIt occurs to me I haven't made a personal post in a while.
There isn't much to say. My job takes almost everything I have. I can cook dinner and I'm good for about one errand.
I work, I come home and work out. I shower, I clean, I write and fool around on the computer. Lately I've been crocheting. I found some gorgeous yarn at the dollar store and bought enough to make this shawl. I find I work with my hands a lot after NanoWriMo.
I'm plotting some cookie baking. Fudge and snickerdoodles, nitey-nite cookies and golden no-bake nuggets, rice-krispy date balls and peanut butter cookies, cherry winks and frosted cut-out cookies. There might even be pics.
This week we have a band concert (Jon) and a choir concert (Oli). I need to grocery shop and do laundry tomorrow. Some mailing as well.
I have a Yule rit to write and a cheesecake to make. I'm thinking peppermint with a chocolate crust.
Bun is driving us to the city for Christmas. So pleased she can go.
Not much else. Trying to finish up a couple of stories.
