We all have things about our friends that make us slightly envious.

Not in a bad way, but in a 'Wow! I wish I had that person's hair/eyes/money/relationship/toenails/whatever.'

Monday

It is a Monday...

I woke up cold. Then Oli came in for her Monday snuggles. She gets up at 630 and comes in for a half hour of snuggles. I don't know how long it will last, but I love it while it does. It's the last gasp of babyhood, where I slept snuggled around her all the time.

Got the kids to school, ate one of the corn muffins Obi made (and burnt a little).

I'm cooking lunch now and will go for my allergy shot in about an hour and 15.

Then I come home, pick up while watching a child-inappropriate movie (probably Spartacus, but maybe 3:10 to Yuma) until Oli gets home. Then she does homework and I edit.

Then an early dinner, impossible turkey pie, because Obi has a concert. Mudd will be late because of an in-service meeting.

Somewhere in there I need to make sausage cheese muffins for my work week.

My days off are busy.

State of the sooky

Off today.

Got my allergy shot.
Made dinner.
Took Obi to his concert.

Fly: swished & swiped, decluttered front room, still needs more. Cleaned my counter.

Work prep: made breakfast

Reading: editing work
Writing: a few words on the mobmen story.

Scent of the day: Shoggoth. white amber, green coconut meat, iris, palmarosa, Chinese peony, lime, water lily, snowdrop, muguet, lemongrass, osmanthus, wisteria, glassy musk, and hinoki. Lime, coconut and white floral.

Card of the day: A time of decision and spoiled for choice. Keep your feet on the ground and pick your cup with care. Be wary of having your head in the clouds.
