Away below them they could see the Road sweeping round the feet of the hills; and to their right a grey river gleamed pale in the thin sunshine. In the distance they glimpsed yet another river in a stony valley half-veiled in mist.

State of the Sooky

Feeling much more myself lately.

Bike: 6 miles. Watched some "House" while I was doing it. Couldn't follow the dialogue, but heard the Peanuts skating theme at the end.

Weight Watchers: down 2. Still have 1.5 to get off from last week.

Errands: paid utilities, printed Pro Se answer, printed pattern for wood working

Housework: none

Kids: Bun has a dr appt, sept 28, to get her pills re-upped. She needs quarters. Obi got his Drillmasters for band. (Mudd asked "Can't you wear Bun's old ones?"Obi pointed out he takes a men's 13 and Bun takes a women's 9)] Jonner was a yutz and ate Obi's dinner before he woke up to eat. Oli is going to be tutor. A certain lady has 6 kids and 5 college classes, and her kids need some help. So Oli is working. $3/hr 3 days a week. She can pay for her own manga habit now.

Scent of the Day: Malice. A profound, complex scent that encapsulates the joy one finds in another's pain. Ylang ylang, clove, Indonesian red patchouli, and dark myrrh. As always, patchouli takes it over.
