Dream fairy can bite me. Don't send me to conventions, have me skip getting a membership and then try bidding on a totally gorgeous bit of steampunkery in the silent auction. At least have me get a freakin BADGE!

Gas keeps going up. Instead of a commute, how about working from home?

Robert Byrd, longest serving congressman, Klansman, and product of his era, dead at 92. Thank you for your service, and no thank you for giving the real racists a wedge to say "but Dems have a Klansman SITTING IN CONGRESS RIGHT NOW!"

Look at the graphs from teh Federal Bureau of Economic Analysis. If you aren't making at least a quarter million a year, you have no reason to be a fiscal conservative. You're only hurting your own wallet.

If Men Could Menstruate by Gloria Steinham. This line always makes me chuckle:
Sanitary supplies would be federally funded and free. (Of course, some men would still pay for the prestige of commercial brands such as John Wayne Tampons, Muhammad Ali's Rope-a-dope Pads, Joe Namath Jock Shields - "For Those Light Bachelor Days," and Robert "Baretta" Blake Maxi-Pads.)

A pictoral spread, PROVING the prevalence of incubi and succubi within entertainment. How they missed Joan Collins and Johnny Depp is a mystery to me.
