Haunted: (Ars Moriendi) A mournful, poignant scent, thick with foreboding. Soft golden amber darkened with a touch of murky black musk.

Vial: golden oil. Very aftershave smell
Wet: Amber, very amber
Drydown: Musk starts sweetening it now
Dry: Still awfully aftershave-y smelling. Definitely thick, and I'm not really fond of it. Amber and musk and just not that good on me. Goes powdery fast.
2 hours: Powdery musk...not impressed, alas.

Seraglio: (Ars Amatoria)  Sweet almond and Mysor sandalwood enveloped by a heady veil of Bulgarian Rose, neroli, nutmeg, clove and orange peel.

Vial: almond and rose
Wet: Almond, with a little rose
Drydown: Spices coming out, but still very almond, with a touch of citrus.
Dry: The orange peel really turns up, pushing the almond back. The sandalwood and spice compliment it.. The rose and almond are pretty much overpowered. Rose makes a reappearance a bit later along with a flower I don't know, the neroli? A changeable scent, like a harem girl's dance. Later still: nutmeg shows up with more roses.
2 hours: roses and some other elements that make it different from the roses in Whip. Very nice.

"Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch" is in the final round for the short-story Darrell!  I knew it would be the one because it has the least sex.

MidSouth Con is On!
I'm calling work tomorrow and guaranteeing it.
If line-haul can skip work THREE TIMES last week, I can miss one Saturday.
