Anne Bonny: Named in honor of the most notorious female pirate to ever set sail. Wicked, cruel, beautiful, intelligent, resourceful and dangerous: a true role model. A blend of Indonesian red patchouli, red sandalwood, and frankincense.

Vial: golden oil, sharp perfumey smell, hint of tobacco
Wet: tobacco ashes
Drydown: Floral something coming through the ash, that'll be the red patchouli. Starting to get frankincense. Not much sandalwood. Much like Magus but not as dry.
Dry: Mellower. The sandalwood is coming through and the frankincense is sweet. The patchouli is still ashy, but much less so.
2 hours: Very nice. A lot like Magus, without the dryness or the wood. An excellent blend, very masculine.

I was talking with a fellow driver this morning, and essentially confirming most of the scary rumors he'd heard were indeed true, and gave him dates so that instead of blaming Obama, he could blame the proper administration.
Bush for the Detention Camps
Carter/Reagan/Both Bushes for the economic collapse.

But he suggested that the whole econ mess was to weaken us for foreign invaders.

I laughed and demanded to know who was in good enough military and economic shape to stage the first invasion of the US since the Canadians burned Washington DC in 1812.

Russia's in as big a financial mess as we are.
China? Half of their people are living in the 18th century, tech wise. The logistics of the invasion are dicey at best.
India has enough trouble with Pakistan.
The Middle Eastern countries hate us only slightly more than they hate each other, and prefer terrorism and guerrilla warfare, where they can set the terms.

Basically, it came down to Canada again. And I for one, welcome our Maple-Leaf Overlords who come to liberate, bearing health care, sanity and legalized weed.

Whackadoodles abound.

I have 3 deadlines in the next 31 days.

1) Cleis Press, Steampunk erotica. I have 450/~5000 words. Steamy Robin Hood
2) Total E-bound, gay anth. 15K. Depression Era Prison Break
3) Severed Press, Dead Bait anth, 2-8K. Amazon, Nile, Mekong, or High Seas. Floating the Spring River is out. Dang... and it had such a promising start

“Paddle faster, I hear banjos,” Don sighed, leaning on the door of my little car. He stared out glumly over the valley, where the green leaves couldn't quite hide all the bare white wood, broken in last winter's ice storm, now sticking up like giant teeth.

“Don,” I groaned, “don't start.”

“Nothing's suited Little Princess Pissypants since we left Rolla. Bitch, bitch, bitch,” said Carol from the backseat.

“Hey! Any more sexist or homophobic remarks and you ride on the roof rack.” I took a mountain curve too fast coming down the slope and then my poor overloaded engine chugged up the next ridge. “You two have been at each other all day. We're almost there and I'd like to do the last mile in peace. The company float trip wasn't my idea, so don't take it out on me.”
