I had to go out for gas. I'm running on fumes.

Our neighborhood is REALLY dark. No street lights for a block and a half either way. Nobody's house lights or porch lights are on. The usual orange sky glow was muted.

And my car key wouldn't unlock the car. Not either of the keys. And I can't see well enough to tell which is which. So I try one and the other and one and the other and finally on the third try one gets it.

Did I mention I'm afraid of the dark?
