25) Sinbad the Sailor. Technicolor with Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Maureen O'Hara and the perennially ethnic Anthony Quinn. Kinda long for what plot there was. Entertaining and pretty to look at. Douglas, like his father, is at his best laughing his way through an improbable escape. (f, 3. The princess and her servant talk, but only about Sinbad)
26) O Brother Where Art Thou? Lovely period piece filmed in hazy atmospheric sepia. Ulysses Everett McGill leads two friends on a jailbreak to stop his ex-wife's wedding. Loosely based on the Odyssey, very entertaining. Great soundtrack. (f,3. Ulysses' wife and 7 daughters talk of how he was hit by a train)
