not actually falling off the face of the earth

Of the days annoyances, these:

That the line-haul from Jackson was an hour late.

That my trailer was loaded backwards, with my first stop in the nose. They got their cage and fragiles and a promise for later.

That at my second stop, I was blocked by a 53', then as I set up to dock, a little panel van whipped in where I needed to be. THEN, my liftgate got stuck. Unfolded and at the top, perfect to decapitate some unsuspecting tail-gater.

That it took 3 hours to get it fixed.

That the rest of my run was an index of that

That I was bitten by a lock hasp on a cage and have a purple bruise.

That I couldn't finish the run, having neither track key nor door keys.

That i didn't get home until 9 PM.

Tomorrow can only be better.
Now watch me gash my forehead open...again. (already did that Tuesday)
