Hiatus is hard

I'm taking a couple days' break from writing because I am burnt out. I've sold 18 things this year, including 3 full-length novels.

Problem is, now the ideas swarm me!

And I have choc_fic due Sunday. Why did I volunteer to write Sleeper Cell?

Bun made muffins last night. I told her "add more liquid. It's a batter, not a dough."
She nodded. "Mom, if it were any more dough, it'd be rae." It took a minute but I did laugh.

it was one of THOSE days

I got to work a little early.
Thing is C., our line driver, was a lot late. An hour.

He threw a trailer tire in Senatobia. On my trailer.

Then i got into the trailer. It was loaded backward. All the piddly stuff was in front. I had dig for my first stop. I hit the metal at the 24' mark before i finished the first stop.

And of course there was Marianna on it. So an 11 stop day. Then I had to get my tire replaced.

I got home around 7:30
