I want to go home and rethink my life.

Dead tired. 25 hour bus ride because they couldn't get me freight. A 1000 mile week (lousy) and no improvement in sight.

I'm pooped.

There's a certain level of hysteria when you call your beloved navigator and say "I'm on fucking Liberty Avenue and it all went NO TRUCKS and one way! Get me outta here!" in a noon-day pedestrian mob.

I hate Pittsburgh, on a purely professional basis. It's a gorgeous city, and I spent a good 20 minutes watching curtains blow out of the window of an abandoned old house flush with a hillside. But if I never have to drive anything bigger than a minivan down there again, I'll be pleased.

Must finish "Raising the Dead" but will be home a couple days. Tuesday, am off to KC to see the folks.
