I made it home.

Thursday I drove round trip from Nashville to Cincinnati, to get a load.
All I could think was "We sooo screwed up the Kentucky run." There is no Elizabethtown rest area (i was thinking of the one at Cave City)

Friday, i hightailed from Nashville to Shreveport.
Today, I drove back.

Ah...so GOOD! I love driving. Even without a radio. Even without CDs. Even with my atlas and all personal effects in Gary Indiana.

And Bun is home on a 48 hour pass and playing her trumpet at the moment.

I took a nice hot shower and in a few minutes I'm going to try on my new dress and see how I look. Then I'll make dinner and do laundry.

reannon wrote a novel called Nocturne (actually Nocturnal Urges and More Perfect Union.
She did it for no advance. The only publicity she got was what she did herself at cons and bookstores.
