I had a quiet day. I wrote over 2000 words, took a nice nap, went grocery shopping, picked up the front room while doing a source rewatch on my yuletide fandom, and helped Dollface put up the tree.

I made my dad's day yesterday.
Obi was all "Thanksgiving. A time for food, for family, for beer."
I called my father and said "You have corrupted my son." And told him the story. He laughed and said, "That's my boy."

Then I told him about Dollface and the book. The kids have a kiddie Guinness Book of World Records, with lots and lots of pictures. Dollface brought it to me and said "Mama, why is Grandpa Ron in this book?"

I looked and it was a picture of Harrison Ford, holding the record for something to do with top-grossing movies. I just about died laughing.

Chuck gave Seven a grin. "Can't wait to see what my folks think of you. Mom never liked my last boyfriend. He went by Walker. His full name was 'Walks-softly-two moons.' Mom called him 'Walks with Cellphone.'"
