I managed to do it

Despite being away from the computer for days at a stretch, I still managed to cranjk out over 50,000 words for Julnawrimo!

Kestrel on the Horizon (gay pirates) is finished. Very rough, wrong in places, but finished.
Tuition Fees (for Arcana) is cooking along

And David is being trouble again...
I know, when is he not? Except that when he's being sensible, Nick's having psychotic episodes.

My muses are a mess.
So basically, here's what i have: 2 different approaches to the same story.

A day in the life

A little bit of everything.

Bun's new computer (2 weeks old) stopped working today. They got it replaced.

Obi glued his hands together. I shrugged and said "Now you have to learn to eat with your feet."

Dollface lost a front tooth a couple days ago. She's got that goofy look right now.

Jonner's ears are hurting--as are mine--from all the air pressure changes because of weather.

My mom sure knows how to pick workplaces. First serial killers, now child pornographers.

Mom's a nurse. She worked at a nursing home in the mid 90s. Turned out their maintenance man was the Hyde Park Killer, who took his last victim in the nursing home basement. He carried her out to the car, put her in the trunk, and stopped at a gas station on his way home from work. He had a heart attack while gassing up. They found the corpse, still in the trunk at the gas station, by smell about a week later.

This time around, it was her floor supervisor whose wife found child pornography, of him raping her daughter (they both came to the marriage with kids) on the home computer. There was more, which he was trying to sell over the internet, on his work computer.

Something to think about when your co-workers get on your nerves.
