Quiet evening

Bunny has wonderful taste. She watched Secondhand Lions and backed it up for 30 minutes so I could see the beginning. Wonderful, funny movie. Lotsa swashbuckling, and much hoo-yay at the end. I want Walter/Sheik's Grandson slash.
Duvall does "crotchety old geezer" like nobody's business.


Now she's attempting to learn French from an internet tutorial, having given up on Gaelic. She didn't have the linguistic background to pronounce most of the Gaelic phonemes.


My Challenge vid for VividCon may be Simon & Simon. I can't find my Gunsmoke eps! And i so wanted Miss Kitty beating Whelan's men at poker.

Yestrday it was a transformer struck by lightning. Today it's no fan in the air.
I have my glass of water and my ceiling fan. I think I'll shut the computer down and quilt in front of the telly, screening Simon & Simon eps for a vid, or watching Quantum Leap.


On the movie front, they really are making "Bewitched" into a movie. Nicole Kidman will be a perfect Samantha, and Shirley McLaine is Endora. We were hoping for Nicholas Brendan or Brendan Frasier as Darrin, but we're getting Will Farrell. Good luck to Michael Caine as Maurice (Sam's father), But Stephen Carell has some huge shoes to fill as Uncle Arthur. Paul Lynde made that role.

It's going to be miserable. In the winter, if the hear is out, you can bundle up.
But once you're down to skin, there's nowhere else to go.
